Had another visit to lincoln hospital today to check the sight in my left eye, and according to the scans i should be ok (ie not losing my sight which is a relief). Now ive just got to get used to the black spot in my eyesight :(

I went to a quilting & patchwork show at Wollaton park community centre today unfortunately forgot my camera! :( it was in aid of ORBS (oncoplastic reconstructive breast surgery) There were some beautiful quilts there & traders (of course i indulged a bit) If i do manage to get hold of any piccies il post them up.

I've just joined the Quilters guild & went to their 30th anniversary region 10 meeting. It was a busy day with shopping (of course), chatting over a coffee, show & tell, & a talk by Elisabeth Brimelow. I loved the quilts on show as im a beginner quilter in need of inspiration & i wasnt disappointed.
